It is the Annual student academic convention organized by Panjab University Campus Student Council where students are invited for research oriented activities. It aims at fulfilling the objectives of student council in facilitating the academic, cultural and social growth of students and inculcates a spirit of participation in them.
Student Activism and the institutions of higher education Preparing students for mature participation in the civic life of a democracy is consistently cited as a primary purpose of higher education. As a responsible participant in the societal process of our democracy, the studentís full and balanced maturity is viewed as a major end-goal of education as well as necessary means to the fullest development of fellow citizens.
1. Only 2 participants from each college/ department.
2. Pre-registrations and limited entry only through the respective department/ college.
3. Registration forms to be deposited at PUCSC office. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
4. The 2 participants have to speak for and against the given topic.
The glorious traditions of Panjab University, since its inception in 1882 at Lahore (now in Pakistan), are a source of inspiration for the present generation of faculty members and students. By virtue of its age, experience, achievements and philosophy, Panjab University is a university of national character and International stature, with faculty and students drawn from all over the country and abroad. Recently, it has been bestowed with PURSE award by DST, Government of India in recognition of its contribution to Science and Technology.
